Dr. Michael R. Andrews President

Dr. Andrews is a 1967 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He served as Captain in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps from 1967-1969, and saw active duty in Vietnam from 1968-1969. His first position as an associate veterinarian was at Randall Veterinary Hospital in Warrensville Heights, OH from 1969-1975. He has been at Tallmadge Animal Hospital since 1975. His pets include Golden Retriever, Robby, and rescue cats Sherman and Lucy. + Read more

Susan E. Andrews
Vice President

Susan has been part of veterinary medicine her entire life, having grown up in a family with her father as a veterinarian. She has been a dedicated educator, wife, mother, and grandmother, and always plays an active role in making Tallmadge Animal Hospital a better place. She is an essential part of its success. + Read more

Nina L. Danik, RVT
Hospital Manager

Nina has been with Tallmadge Animal Hospital since she graduated from Columbus Technical Institute in 1976 with a Registered Veterinary Technician degree. Her knowledge, love of the profession, relationships with clients and their pets, and dedication to providing quality care make her an essential part of the TAH family. Nina and her family enjoy their dogs Foster and Dewey and rescue cats James Bond and Dany. + Read more


Angela's voice is often the first heard by clients who call to schedule appointments or have a concern about a sick pet. Her knowledge of the pets and their people make her an integral part of the daily work of Tallmadge Animal Hospital. Her responsibilities also include assisting in surgery and exam rooms, filling prescriptions, and general hospital upkeep. Angela has two dogs, Oscar and Olivia, and cats Noel, Abbey, and Fernando. + Read more


Lisa is an animal care attendant with years of experience at Tallmadge Animal Hospital. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and caring attitude make her an integral member of our team. + Read more


Ashley, a pre-vet student at the University of Akron, loves to learn and participate in the everyday workings of an animal hospital. She will be a great addition to the profession. + Read more


Samantha is an Animal Care Attendant with a variety of duties and responsibilities. Caring for hospitalized patients, assisting in exam rooms, and keeping the hospital clean and in order are her major concerns. Sam is a high school student who also rides and shows horses. + Read more


Olivia is a student at the University of Akron who aspires to be a veterinarian. We're so proud to announce that she was recently accepted to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine for the Fall of 2019! She quickly learns the needs of the hospital, and readily jumps in to contribute to the work that must be done. Pets love her, too! + Read more
