Dr. Michael R. Andrews President

Dr. Andrews is a 1967 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He served as Captain in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps from 1967-1969, and saw active duty in Vietnam from 1968-1969. His first position as an associate veterinarian was at Randall Veterinary Hospital in Warrensville Heights, OH from 1969-1975. He has been at Tallmadge Animal Hospital since 1975. His pets include Golden Retriever, Robby, and rescue cats Sherman and Lucy. + Read more

Susan E. Andrews
Vice President

Susan has been part of veterinary medicine her entire life, having grown up in a family with her father as a veterinarian. She has been a dedicated educator, wife, mother, and grandmother, and always plays an active role in making Tallmadge Animal Hospital a better place. She is an essential part of its success. + Read more

Nina L. Danik, RVT
Hospital Manager

Nina has been with Tallmadge Animal Hospital since she graduated from Columbus Technical Institute in 1976 with a Registered Veterinary Technician degree. Her knowledge, love of the profession, relationships with clients and their pets, and dedication to providing quality care make her an essential part of the TAH family. Nina and her family enjoy their dogs Foster and Dewey and rescue cats James Bond and Dany. + Read more

Angela

Angela's voice is often the first heard by clients who call to schedule appointments or have a concern about a sick pet. Her knowledge of the pets and their people make her an integral part of the daily work of Tallmadge Animal Hospital. Her responsibilities also include assisting in surgery and exam rooms, filling prescriptions, and general hospital upkeep. Angela has two dogs, Oscar and Olivia, and cats Noel, Abbey, and Fernando. + Read more

Heather

Heather is the helpful voice on the phone and the friendly face clients see at the front desk on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Her many responsibilities include scheduling, getting medications, preparing exam rooms, and checking pets in and out of the hospital. This busy lady not only has two cats at home (Sebastian and Cleo), but also three little girls (including three-year-old twins). + Read more

Azia and Jessica

Azia and Jessica, high school seniors, work in a variety of areas in the hospital. They are responsible for the cleanliness of the kennels and the facility in general; they assist in the treatment and exam rooms, and they add a spirit of caring and also fun to the work at hand. Tallmadge Animal Hospital

We love seeing former staff when they visit on their college breaks, especially when new puppies are involved. Azia was excited for Dr. Andrews to meet her two loves, and Jessica helped carry a little bundle. Tuesday: Open for appointments as usual. 8am-5pm
Wednesday: Open for medication and prescription diet pickup only. 8am-11am.
Thursday: (Thanksgiving) Closed.
Friday: Closed
Saturday: Open for appointments as usual. 8am-12pm.
Emergencies are referred to MedVet (330-665-4996) or Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital (330-666-2976)
