Current Andrew's Pets

Sir Robin of TAH - "Robby"

Born Feb. 1, 2006

Robby is a great ambassador who likes to greet everyone at the front desk. He has his distinctive, loving personality, but will often show mannerisms that were so common and unique to Jack, that one would think "Obie-Wan Jack" is sending him messages.

Sherman (William Tecumseh Sherman)

Born April 3, 2006

Sherman, a rescue cat, is an independent little guy that had trouble accepting the size and energy of Robby at first, but has come to accept him as they continue to grow together.

Shy little Lucy became proactive in her own rescue when she showed up at Dr. Andrews' back door last summer (2013). Very thin and in need of care, she soon became a force to be reckoned with as she took her place alongside Robby and Sherman. She must remember her days on the verge of starvation, because she is the first to remind Susan of suppertime each day. Lucy has decided that Robby, though much larger than she, is her household favorite.

Our Hospital Cat

Born September 12, 2007

Born in Philly, handsome Thib came to live in Ohio and has found a happy home at Tallmadge Animal Hospital. He views the hospital as his domain, and his princely gaze falls on all who walk through its halls.

Pets of the Danik Household

Dany (Daenerys Targaryen)

Named after the Game of Thrones beauty, Dany knows how to behave like a queen and rule the pets and people of her home. (She's pretty good at hiding, too.)

Foster adds comic relief to the family, and always know when it's suppertime.

Dany and James Bond

Did someone say "Treats?"

Angela's Furry Loves

Olivia and Oscar

"Personality Plus" best describes these two Bichon Frise BFF's!

Is someone taking a shower? Don't be surprised if this golden guy jumps right in!

Dinnertime finds Abbey sitting in a chair at the table and begging for food. She is also a happy tail-chaser.

Tallmadge Animal Hospital

It’s time to pause and pay homage on this Veterans Day to those who served in our nation’s military. We recognize two “Vet vets” that are very close to our hearts: Dr. Joseph Solomon, Dr. Andrews’ father-in-law, spent most of World War II in Europe. He was with the wave of U.S. troops that landed on Normandy (Utah beach) on D Day +2. He attended the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine after returning and graduated in 1950. His career was spent mainly in the care of Thoroughbred race horses in the Cleveland area. He passed away in 2002. Dr. Andrews went into the U.S. Army after graduating from Ohio State and served for a year in a veterinary diagnostics lab in Vietnam, testing military dogs for rabies and other diseases that were rampant in that part of the world. He has dedicated his career to companion animals and to the people who love them. We salute all veterans and active duty military. 🇺🇸🐎🐈🐕 ... See MoreSee Less
