Beth and Don Cooper have fallen in love with the newest member of their pack. They have given their hearts to Greyhounds, and have provided a loving and gentle home to magnificent dogs that have been in the racing industry, and once retired, are looking for a family. In the past few years, they lost their beloved Suzie and Miami to devastating disease. It didn't take long for Beth to identify a beautiful brindle girl that she felt would complement the family dynamic. Meet Coco! She visited Dr. Andrews her first day in town and then moved toward adjusting fully to her new home. Sam, her half-sibling, and Jazz, the other female of the pack, have welcomed her with gentle acceptance. We give a special shout out to adoptive parents like Beth and Don who unselfishly give these beauties safe landing.

Why is Blue giving Dr. Andrews a big Dachshund kiss? The poor little guy had been very sick until it was discovered he had eaten something that was not on his approved diet. A series of x-rays, a two hour procedure with an endoscope, a skilled surgeon, a talented staff, and the culprit was removed from his stomach: a small flat stone that refused to move on through. Blue is home with owners Martha and Tony DiMauro, feeling so much better.
